Moments from the Journey
The Swiss Alps offer a different kind of beauty.
Swiss Alps Bonding Runs'26
April 19 to 25, 2026
Grindelwald and Zermatt
Swiss Alps offer a perfect template for Bonding runs — A landscape that invites stillness rather than conquest. Trails that allow conversation and a setting that makes it easier to slow down, breathe, and be present.
This is not about testing limits.
It is about creating space.
The shoulder season of April allows for a grand setting:
Valley trails open early.
Higher altitudes retain snow.
The mountains dictate the pace.
Some days we run.
Some days we walk in snow.
Some days we slow down on purpose.
This is not about conquering mountains.
It is about letting them work on us.
Your Daily Experience
How The Days Unfold
Mornings begin with shared movement, runs or walks, always adaptable.
Post-run Runners' Clinics focus on breath, relaxation, strength and awareness.
Evenings are unhurried, reflection, conversation, or quiet exploration.
Nothing is rushed.
Nothing is forced.
Morning - Shared Movement
We start with a warm breakfast, followed by a pre-run briefing on the route, weather conditions, and the day's intentions. Routes range from 10-25km, adjustable based on pace and preference. Every group has multiple checkpoints.
Randumb Gyan: Runners' Clinic
Celebration moments are celebrated together. Nutrition, hydration, and rest follow naturally. We gather for insights on running: relaxation and the runner's mind, breathing workshops, landing and pace, strength and stretch, nutrition and hydration. How we move is how we live.
Afternoon - Rest & Exploration
Time belongs to you. Nap, explore charming alpine villages, enjoy local cuisine, or join optional guided experiences. This is when conversations deepen naturally, without agenda.
Evening - Reflection Circles
Gather for family-style dinners featuring regional specialties. Some evenings include guided reflection circles exploring questions like: Why did we come? What do we want to reconnect with? What pace am I living at? Others are simply for laughter, stories, and presence.
Settling is crucial. Nothing is forced. But days do weave into story.

The Experience
Thoughtfully designed.
Quietly exceptional.
What happens when you remove distraction and bring clarity to meaning, both externally and through slowing down?
Bonding Runs are shaped by a 360-degree understanding of movement, where the focus is not the painful knee, but the person who has the knee, the pace they live at, and the people they move through life with.
Small by Design
Capped at 25-35 participants. Small is sustainable. Intimate is intentional.
Non-Racing Philosophy
No finish line pressure. No bib numbers. Just pace, presence, and being together in motion.
Safety & Support
Trained guides at every checkpoint, plus emergency support. Safety is baseline. Trust is built around it.
Curated Routes
Every path is chosen for beauty, challenge, accessibility. Routes aren't generic—they're portals into deeper meaning.
Boutique Stays
We stay in carefully selected boutique hotels that reflect the local character. Warm, welcoming, and nestled into villages—not resorts. These are places locals recommend.
Every morning starts with local pastries and family-style coffee. Evenings are grounded with regional specialties, alpine cheeses, and breads baked that day. Food becomes another form of connection.

Walking is Not a Compromise
Walks and runs blur here. Speed does not define success.
Many join with different fitness levels or preferences. Some walk 5 km/h and spend extra time at each lake. Some run faster. Both are celebrated. It's not about the finish.
Between the Runs

Between Climbs
We carve space between climbs for stories. Journaling. Quiet coffee on a terrace. This is where some of the deepest work happens.
In-Between Dates
Evening gatherings are not just for sports talk. They become safe, open-hearted dialogues about what we're running from—and what we're running toward.
Unscheduled Time
Time in the mountains unfolds differently. Every day includes unscheduled hours: for conversation, for reading, for being.
Shoe & Gear Advisory
Shoes
You'll need trail running shoes with grip. Not road shoes. Waterproof is recommended.
If you want guidance, we're happy to advise. But run in what already feels familiar to you.
Clothing
Layers. The Alps can shift from 5°C to 20°C. Light rain jacket, wind shell, and sun protection (hat, sunglasses, SPF) are a must.
Merino or moisture-wicking layers are ideal. No cotton (it traps sweat & gets cold). A small 10-15L hydration pack is a good idea.
Accessories
Lightweight poles are optional but very useful on descents or for longer climbs.
Bring a journal. Some find meaning in writing after runs.
"You do not need to be fast. You do not need to be fearless. You simply need to be present."
— A participant who returned with strength (and breath) revisited
