RUN INDIA RUN

Every 4 years we become a sporting nation. To win medals at the highest level, we need to make changes at the grassroots.

Not only to win medals but also to become a healthier nation.

This is the first step to get millions of Indians to start running from School & College Students to anyone & everyone.

*Registrations for this event are closed.

If you are wondering why is it 30 days running commitment and not 28, 29, 31 or 33, it’s because Messi’s shirt number at PSG is number 30. And someone ran-dumb was born on that date too.

Anyone and everyone can join the 30 Days Running Commitment. There is no fee if you want to on your own and not register. After all, how can I or anyone else stop you.

But if you decide to register, there will be a fee (₹555). It’ll include e-certificate and update of your photos and achievements on the website.

There is an option to get a medal and or t-shirt too.

Do remember, this is not a challenge but a commitment to self. It’s not a race against anyone else. Goal is simply to become a better version of self.

For other activities, details will soon be shared.

LA ULTRA - THE HIGH: OVERCOMING INNER DEMON

  • LA ULTRA – THE HIGH, an ultramarathon in Ladakh since 2010, known as the world’s cruelest race, exposes participants to extreme weather conditions. -12°C to + 40°C, snow-storms to sandstorms and ice-burns to sun-burns in a matter of few hours. Oxygen content as low as 60% compared to sea level.
  • When we came up with the concept in 2009, the Indian Army HQ said it was an impossible task, and now for 4-5 years they sent their official teams to participate, with the advise to listen to us.
  • We started with 222 km, then introduced 111 km. The 111 attracted a lot of Indian participation & soon they were getting to the finish-line of not only the 111 but the 333 km and also 555 km category. Now we also have 33 and 55 km categories to make it a more inclusive event.
  • Over the years LA ULTRA has become synonymous with fighting and overcoming your inner demons, from running 555 km in Ladakh to running 5 km anywhere or even getting off the bed.

EMPHASIS ON STRENGTH TRAINING

  • Squat Challenge (2019): A challenge that was accepted by people from across the globe. We aimed at doing 111 squats every day for 30 days.
  • Squats Uni-V-Arse Challenge (2020): Done over 3 iterations, collectively, over 1 MILLION squats were done by 1000+ people from 30+ cities around the globe.
  • 11 day PUSH challenge (now called BUILD) started in April 2021, comprises of simple to do movements that are progressively improved on over days and weeks, from easy to hard. It’s targeted at young children, to working adults and elderly, anyone and everyone in the family from anywhere.
